Homeless Prevention

Homeless Prevention Services:

START (Support to Home and Recovery Targets).  

22 units of accommodation (Carlow & Kilkenny), engaging people through the recovery approach through life skill supports, and tenancy sustainment interventions for people with a mental health diagnosis, working as part of a multidisciplinary approach. 

Homecare (Carlow & Kilkenny) 

12 participants of people vulnerable with a mental health diagnosis, with high needs, with challenges in managing a home, inclined to hoarding and other high-risk behaviours, vulnerable to loosing their tenancy. Providing care and case management services, healthcare supports and cleaning. Working in conjunction with Mental Health Multi-Disciplinary services.  

Tenancy Sustainment Service (Mental Health), Carlow, Kilkenny and Tipperary 

Providing Tenancy Sustainment supports and access to GP, Mental Health Supports for local authority and approved housing body tenants at risk of homelessness.
